At Montessori Acres gardening and environmental studies leads our students to a true appreciation of nature. The students work in our organic garden through the seasons collecting seeds, propagating plants, weeding, mulching, and harvesting the fruits of their labor.
Students study soil, convert farm waste and bedding into compost, conduct hands-on demonstrations with water cycles, and learn to work with native plants.
Having positive experiences in nature at a very young age is an important step towards promoting curiosity about their environment and inspiring future leaders who will safeguard our planet.

Every child’s learning journey begins with curiosity. A tour of our campus farm will show how exploration come alive each day. Start your child’s story with us — schedule your visit today.

The animals love to be admired and cared for by all the students of Montessori Academy. They are very well socialized and are a part of the hands-on learning experience.
Knowledge is best given where there is eagerness to learn, so this is the period when the seed of all things can be sown, the child’s mind being like a fertile field, ready to receive what will germinate into a culture.
We would love for you to visit our school and learn more.
