Summer Program

Our summer program is approximately seven-eight weeks that runs from the last week of June through the second week in August.

Summer is a season everyone looks forward to! However, it doesn’t mean that summer is without its challenges. Parents are busy enough as it is, and now school is out. This means, that you as parents have to come up with plans and find summer camps or programs in the hopes that your child will have fun.

This is where Montessori Academy comes to the rescue! We have assembled inviting summer preschool themes and lesson plans that both children and teachers love.

Our summer program is led by trained staff and volunteer college students. Each week is designed around interactive learning themes. Some of our past fun and exciting themes have been: Amazon Adventure, Dinosaurs Galore, Globe Trotters, Bugs and Insect Life, Kitchen Science, Solar System, Water Play etc.

The students participate in themed crafts, games, and learn and explore the topic of the week. Parents can choose to sign up for only the weeks that are of interest to their child or attend the entire program. Elementary students have the option of attending camp at the farm.
