Mrs. Filippi has been with MAV for 15 years, first as a Montessori teacher and now as an administrator. Her commitment to Montessori values and her support for staff, students, and families help create an inspiring school community.
Mrs. Filippi worked at the Montessori Academy of VA for 15 years. She began her career as a certified Montessori teacher with MAV after she graduated from Radford University; she was a classroom teacher with MAV for 11 years. Mrs. Filippi began her role as a Montessori Administrator due to her talents, strong belief in the Montessori philosophy. She has a passion for guiding staff and students and the ability to be proactive with parents and works diligently towards creating an inspiring and engaging learning environment for all our Montessori families.
