Our summer program runs approximately for 6 to 7 weeks, beginning a week after the formal school year ends; continuing through mid-August.
Summer is a time for children to explore, create, get messy, and have fun. Our Summer Program gives our students all of that, and plenty of opportunities to keep discovering and learning along the way.
Each week brings a new adventure! Led by our enthusiastic assistant staff and college students, children explore different hands-on themes through games, crafts, experiments, stories, creative activities and have fun together.

Summer Comes to Life on the Farm! Learning doesnât stop when the school year ends. Elementary Farm Camp at Montessori Acres gives students a special summer opportunity to step outside the classroom and immerse themselves in nature, exploration, and hands-on learning.
Beginning the week after the school year ends, this two-week experience offers children a memorable way to close their school yearâwith fresh air, adventure, and continued experiences at the farm. Due to the summer heat, Farm Camp is intentionally limited to two weeks, making this a special and focused summer experience.
Students spend idyllic days exploring the natural world, discovering the rhythms of life on the farm during summer, and engaging in experiences that simply cannot happen inside a classroom. From outdoor games and creative art and crafts to hands-on farm activities and nature exploration, children have opportunities to learn through movement, observation, creativity, and discovery.
At Farm Camp, children donât just learn about nature, they experience it. They get their hands dirty, ask questions, explore, create, and discover the joy of learning in the world around them.
Itâs an unforgettable way to end the school yearâand a wonderful reminder that the world itself can be a classroom. đ±
