Mrs. Filippi has been a valued member of the Montessori Academy of Virginia community for 15 years. She began her career with MAV as a certified Montessori teacher after graduating from Radford University and spent 11 years as a MAV classroom teacher.

Due to her natural leadership abilities, dedication, and strong belief in the Montessori philosophy, Mrs. Filippi transitioned into the role of Montessori Executive Director. She is passionate about supporting and guiding both staff and students and is committed to fostering positive, meaningful relationships with families. Her proactive approach to working with parents, combined with her dedication and collaborative leadership style, helps create an inspiring, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for all our MAV families.
